Who is she?
The Early Years
I was born into a family of 11 children.
Life was hard on the farm. We children had to fight for food. It taught me grit.
Eventually, our parents dropped us at an orphanage. I never saw my siblings again.
The Middle Years
I was quickly adopted and given the world.
Within months, my emaciated body doubled in size.
Unconditional love taught me how to move on.
Present Day
I’m privileged to be a traveler and a foodie.
My passion for the native plants along the sidewalks of Central California has led me to spend hours each week studying them.
Nothing satisfies me like eating directly from the kitchen table.

Oh wait, that’s about my dog, not me. I bought him for $50 off Craigslist. He’s 100% of my camera roll and 100% of my personality. To know him is to know me.
